Black-and-white portrait of Peter Verhounik wearing dark clothing and a baseball cap, looking directly into the camera.
A film shoot taking place in a living room: a cameraman operates a professional camera mounted on a tripod, while another person handles a ladder. In the background, two people sit on a brown leather sofa. A large softbox and another light source.

I’m a Director of Photography and Colorist with a background in Information Design and currently deepening my craft through a Master’s in Media Design at FH Joanneum. I thrive where story and technique meet — always curious, always all-in.

What drives me is the challenge of translating feeling into visuals. I don’t just shoot what’s in front of the lens — I dive into the story behind it. Whether it’s carving lines through powder as a state-certified ski instructor or capturing the raw energy of sport on film, I gravitate toward movement, rhythm, and the unexpected.

Every project is a chance to fine-tune light, color, and emotion into something that resonates.
